About Me

What therapy with me feels like

I believe therapy works best when you feel like you can genuinely be yourself, not like you have to say the “right” thing or show up a certain way. I aim to create a space that feels comfortable, genuine, and judgment-free, where there’s room for both the hard conversations and moments of humor along the way.

My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I won’t just sit back and nod - we’ll get curious together, notice patterns, make connections, and explore what might be keeping you stuck. You don’t need to come in knowing exactly what’s wrong or what you want to change. We can figure that out together.

How I got here

I grew up in Northern Virginia and earned a B.A. in English before moving to Charlotte to work in the nonprofit field. Through that work, I developed a deep appreciation for listening to people’s stories and helping them navigate complex emotions and experiences. This ultimately led me to pursue professional training in mental health counseling, and I received my M.A. in Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I am so grateful to be in the work of counseling, and consider it an honor to walk through difficult seasons with clients and to help them feel seen and known.

Outside of the therapy room…

In my free time, I’m usually at a coffee shop catching up with my friends or reading a book. I also enjoy yoga, traveling, going to concerts, or spending time with my cat Ivy. And you can almost always find me listening to Taylor Swift - her songs have gotten me through many seasons of life.
